Born in the attic, watered on the back deck, grown in a squatters hut, a jungle project...

Freedom Town (previously Jungle Traffic) were a 5-piece Hip-hop/Roots band from Brisbane Australia. Combining lounge beats, acoustic rhythms and rich story-telling, they brought a dynamic live performance to stages over Queensland throughout 2008.

Their debut album 'Freedom Town' was to be their only release, with members moving onto other musical projects.

Freedom Town is the place...when we leave the city lights behind...in a bay where angels lay...we find what we've been looking for...

We hope you enjoy this album and love, sweat and tears that went into making this piece of art. I certainly look back on it proudly as a big step in my musical journey. I hope you enjoy!
